The accused were given individual sentences for several crimes committed against 2,027 victims, according to Turkish news sources, which added up to the total number of years in the verdict.For fraud and sex offences, TV cult preacher Adnan Oktar received an 8,658-year sentence in 2022.
According to AFP, the prosecution had requested that Ozer receive a sentence of 40,562 years in jail. Since its establishment in 2017, Thodex has grown to rank among the biggest virtual currency exchanges in the nation. He was detained in Albania last year pursuant to a global Interpol warrant, and after a protracted judicial process, he was extradited.
