The Security Services of Ukraine announced last Friday, that they “neutralized a hacker group from Lviv that acted in the interests of the aggressor state.”
The criminals are said to have hacked and secured personal data from the active internet accounts of EU Members of State and Ukraine Officials. Then using a platform on the ‘darknet’ they anonymously sold the confidential information to their ‘wholesale clients’ were pro-kremlin propagandists. So it could be used for the purpose of spreading disinformation about the socio-political situation in Ukraine and the EU.
Following investigations and subsequent searches the law enforcement found and seized their devices on suspicion under Article 361-2.1 of the CCU, which is unauthorized sale or distribution of information with restricted access, stored in computers, automated systems, computer networks or on data carriers. The seizure included
